Squeeze your lemon
ex“squeeze-it” vagabond recipes and tips on how to fill your outdoor life with pleasure

This is a trail notebook, passed from hand to hand — stained with oil, lemon juice, dust and mate. It was written mostly at night, in a tent, after a good meal, by people who cook on the road for months at a time.
It’s not a food blog, not a performance how-to, it’s a collection of things that made us happier on long trips.
What we care about
- Lightweight and low-budget. Ingredients you can find in a small-town shop, carried in your panniers, cooked on a camp stove.
- Easy enough that you’ll actually cook. If a recipe needs three pots and a dehydrator, you won’t find it here.
- Mostly plant-based, local and low-waste — but always with the reasons, never as a rule handed down.
- Pleasure first. We would rather eat well and ride slowly.
