Tiktok Ramen

Tiktok Ramen

For most people instant ramen is “boil, slurp, survive”… This is the outdoor version of the once gone viral TikTok ramen — garlicky, spicy, and proof that you can turn trail food into something wildly better than any package praises.

  1. Bring water to boil.
  2. Boil the noodles. Drain once slightly before ready. Save the water(!)
    1. Use part of the water (maybe spiced with some more chilli and or a bit of the ramen flavor package) to soak the soy mince.
    2. Preparation changes slightly depending on the grain. Usually covering it with water in a Container with a cozy is enough and only takes longer for larger sized soya bites.
  3. Heat some oil and shortly fry garlic (, veggies) and chili flakes.
  4. Add sugar (1 teespoon) and soy sauce (1 tablespoon) and stir until the sugar is melted.
  5. Add noodles (and soy) and coat them with the sauce.
  6. (Lightly beat the egg, push noodles aside and shortly fry the egg).
  7. (Top with seeds/nuts and spring onion).
  • Cook noodles slightly less than instructed (e.g. 2.5 instead of 3 min) so that they keep a good texture during the frying.
  • Inspired by ramen recipe that went viral on TikTok we created a outdoor version. We highly recommend using seeds/nuts, veggies, a egg and soy mince to increase the nutritional value of this dish.

…and don’t forget to squeeze your lemon.
